Money-back containment guarantee for the first 12 months. See the conditions
Most installs take three to five hours, and your dog’s training starts before we leave.

The blue line is the wire, buried about five inches deep around the area you choose: the whole property or just the backyard. Driveway crossings, garden loops, even indoor exclusion zones - each system is custom designed to suit your needs.

The receiver weighs about an ounce, so it suits tiny breeds and giants alike. A three-hour charge lasts about four weeks. No disposable batteries to buy, no routine maintenance costs, no subscription.

GentleSteps starts on install day, with the collar set to only deliver an audible warning beep. Correction is slowly introduced over about a week, with plenty of treats and praise to gently teach your dog the rules. You also get unlimited phone and text support and a free revisit within 30 days.

Day one is beep only. Over the next week we bring in the static correction gradually, starting at a level most dogs barely notice, with plenty of treats and praise. It only goes as high as your dog needs, and most trained dogs end up turning back at the beep alone.

Puppies can start at 12 weeks, and there’s no minimum or maximum weight. One system covers as many dogs as you have, and each dog’s collar is set on its own, so a timid dog and a stubborn one can share the same yard. Strong-willed breeds like Huskies and Great Pyrenees may need a higher setting and a little more patience.
If we can’t keep your dog contained in the first 12 months, you get your money back, as long as your dog wears the collar, you follow the training plan and you give us a fair chance to adjust the settings. It doesn’t cover a gate left open where no wire protects it, or negligence unrelated to the equipment. The equipment has a 20-year UltraCare warranty, with a replacement fee of 20% of the item’s original price.

Quick answers to what people usually ask. Anything else, just ask when we talk.

We’ll talk for a few minutes about your dog, your yard and what you’d like the fence to do. Then we look at your property on satellite imagery and put together a written quote for your layout. For complicated properties, or if you’d like to see the equipment first, we can come out for a free visit. There’s no pressure and no obligation.
Essential is $1,945, Connected is $2,195 and Complete is $2,545, all plus HST. Connected adds the LINK smart collar and app, and Complete adds a LINK transmitter with battery backup. Layouts that need less than 500 feet of wire can come in under the package price.
What moves the price: how much wire your layout needs ($0.90 per foot past the included 500), how many dogs (an extra collar is $495, or $745 for a LINK smart collar), driveway crossings, garden loops and travel.
There’s no deposit. Pay in full, or in four equal interest-free payments over six months, starting on installation day. You’ll have the exact number in writing before you decide.
We do the first session with you on install day and leave you a simple plan. Most dogs learn the boundary in about a week of short daily sessions. Some take a few days, some ten or more. Keep your dog on leash near the boundary until the plan says they’re ready, take the collar off at night, and call or text us if anything is unclear. Your free revisit within 30 days is there if you’d like a hand.
No subscription or disposable battery purchases. The collar recharges in about three hours. If equipment ever needs replacing under warranty, the fee is 20% of its original price, and a wire cut by digging is repaired as a paid service call.
Outside the spring rush, often within a few days. In spring, bookings can run three to four weeks out. We install and bury wire whenever the ground isn’t frozen, and in winter we can pin the wire to the surface, then bury it once the ground thaws.
We cover Southwestern Ontario, roughly everything between Barrie, Fort Erie and Chatham-Kent. That includes Niagara, Hamilton, Halton, Peel, Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Brantford, London, Woodstock and Simcoe County. Longer drives will add to the cost.

Call 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week, or send your details any time and we’ll call you.
